Day 48 - it's a jungle out there!

I could probably start a blog simply with photos of creatures from our yard. This beast was hanging out in the planter in the backyard. He was quite feisty! jumping from plant to plant, it was hard to get him to pose for me. i think he was ready to jump on the lens...

Day 47 - shopping ritual

when fonz visits, his favorite place to shop is potomac mills... so, we took a mini-road-trip up north on 95 in the teeny tiny little aveo. hahaha. he got his shoes, and we got AWESOME deals on clothes. back-to-school ready! (sorta)

Day 46 - 08.08.08

Wedding day! i was super nervous to photograph fred and danny's big day. i am the farthest thing from being a professional photographer, but it was definitely a way to get some experience. it was very fun, and very tiring :) i had a blast, and I hope that Fred and Danny will like what they see. after i edit and sort through all 769 images that i snapped!

Day 45 - going to the chapel

Today was the rehearsal for Fred and Danny's big day! we went to the church, and i went along to check out the lighting and ask for permission from the father to be up close with my camera. but anyways, the church was gorgeous (although a little under-lighted as expected) and the weather was very interesting. it POURED down on the way to the church, and then stopped suddenly when we reached the downtown area. god was so shocked that we were entering a church, i suppose. haha. it made for some awesome clouds afterwards though on the way to dinner...

Day 44 - a tisket, a tasket...

a new laundry basket. and some other goodies from target. needed to pick up a few things for the wedding... you know, all the girlie stuff like dress tape and sticky boobs.



and i found these slippers on clearance so i picked them up as well. they matched perfectly with my new pedi...

Day 43 - landscaping arteest

e is responsbile for all of the landscaping in the yard. have i mentioned that i really dont like digging in the dirt and stuff? well, i dont. but i love how it looks :)

Day 41 - bleeding black

whew- sorry for the long delay. it has just been a flurry of things since last weekend. but, I did take pics. Just hadn't had time to upload and edit. this pic was taken last week on day 41. e and fonz cut down a bunch of tree branches and things several months ago. this tree in the backyard was bleeding black stuff and i thought it looked pretty cool. sooo....

Day 37 - big bird!

Holy shit. I was sitting on the couch, and I thought I saw someone walk onto the deck out of the corner if my eye. but no. it was this huge bird. hawk? i am not a bird watcher, so i am not sure. i know owls, but nothing else ;) He stuck around long enough for me to grab my camera, take one pic, and then he was off. I didnt even have time to pull up the blinds. so, crappy shots, but a cool memory :) :)

Day 35 - goodbye, tay :(

After a full day of being rediculously hungover, we went to tay's going-away party. he is leaving us for a year. we'll miss you. :(

Day 34 - right said fred

Saturday, July 26th- Fred's last day out as a single woman. we took her out for a night on the town. craziness ensued, as usual. Here is one shot from the night. We were out of drinks, so this is how we let the waitress know. i am sure that she loved us by the end of the evening :)

The wedding is on 08.08.08. Cant wait! Congrats Fred and Danny!!!
