.day.35. looks...primitive?

lol- going through some old phone pics (in the spirit of Helio's impending funeral), I found these awesome beauties. These were taken in the rest stop at Sideling Hill in MD on the way to PA.

.day.34. death do us part

When the time comes, (March 18th to be exact) I am going to throw this phone as far as my little arm will take it. Death to Helio. I shall put this into my "you live, you learn" file.

.day.33. self-portrait

I haven't posted any pics of my back tattoo lately... Here is an update. The main parts are pretty much done, but now Kenny is working on filling in the background and covering up the upper tribal thingie, and the lower one will be done too eventually. The top part that is darker was done yesterday before the Super Bowl...

Took today off to relax after the game and the tattoo. E goes in later today. Fun times! :)

.day.32. GAME DAY!

So I cheated a bit on this one... I didn't actually take this picture myself, but it is my favorite from the evening. STEELERS WIN SUPER BOWL 43!! Couldnt have had a better time! And the game was so freakin tense!! But totally worth it in the end. :)

.day.31. healthy start

Went grocery shopping today. It wasn't one of our typical "fill-up-a-huge-cart-and-wonder-how-we-spent-a-million-dollars" kinda deal. we actually shopped around and bought a bunch of fruits and veggies, and healthy grains, etc. erin is turning into a nutritionist, and I am doing my best to follow suit. We also picked up an Iron Gym to add to our home workout stuff. Day 1 or workout hasnt started yet... the day will come soon, so stay posted.

.day.30. pots and palettes

As a social outing for the school staff, we got together at a pottery painting place. It was so much fun! I can't really paint very well, but it still turned out cute. I can't wait to see what my mug will look like when it is glazed! :)

.day.29. gorgeous sunset

I was in the living room, and I noticed this weird, pink glow coming from the front of the house. I lifted the blinds, and saw this gorgeous sunset. We usually miss sunsets at the house because we are in a valley of sorts, so we never see them that well. This one was different. I did not have to do much to edit this one, it was GORGEOUS on its own. No saturation necessary. :)
