Day 3 & 4

I am not going to lie. I was home too late and too tired to take pics on day 3. I did get up early the next morning on day 4 and take pics though. E had to change out the headlights in her car, and it was a steamy 75 degrees at 9 am, so i walked into the woods and took a few pics of the just-budding forrest. then, i helped e ;)

Day 2

So I havent posted in a few days; totally typical. But, I have been messing with the camera. So, here is a photo from the other day. erin was hungry late night, so she got a grilled cheese same from me. I am such an awesome cook.

Day 1

I decided to treat myself to a new camera this past January. I haven't really had much time to take pictures because of my graduate work, school, etc. So, in order to force myself to start taking pictures and getting used to my new camera, I thought I would start a daily photo blog, aka project365. This will definitely allow me to experiment with lenses, settings, etc, all while journaling about my year in photos. I can't wait to see the end result :)

Today's first photo entry is of the backyard. Today was the first day of potential grass cutting for erin. She is debating whether or not to actually go about it. I can't blame her for not. It is pretty crappy out there. The weather is beautiful, a nice 75 degrees. But all of the dandelions and bugs have got to be a bummer.

I was going to start with a photo from yesterday, but I technically did not start this journal until today, so no cheating. I started my backpiece last night! So I played hooky today :) I wonder how far along I will be by next year at this time???
